FAQ
Parade Day Shuttle & Parking
Q: Will we be able to bring wagons or dollies on the bus?
A: Yes. Citibus has confirmed there is room to load wagons or dollies if needed.
Q: If I'm riding a bike or scooter, can I bring that with me on the shuttle?
A: Yes. Bikes can be secured on the front bike racks of the bus. Scooters are allowed onboard but must be folded before boarding.
Q: What if parents need to drop off their children at the staging area? Can they ride the shuttle with them and return to watch the parade?
A: Yes. Parents are allowed to ride the shuttle to and from the staging area. They are also welcome to wait along the route to watch the parade after dropping their child off.
Staging Area
Q: Can I park my vehicle at the staging area the night before the parade?
A: Yes, you can drop off between 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. There will be security on-site, but please note it is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any items left overnight.
Candy
Q: How much candy should we bring to hand out along the route?
A: It’s completely up to you whether or not you hand out candy. If you choose to do so, we recommend bringing a minimum of 20 bulk bags (from Costco, Sam’s, etc.).
To ensure you have enough candy for the entire 1.7-mile route, assign someone to portion it out so you can distribute candy consistently at the beginning, middle, and end of the parade.
