Los Hermanos Familia believes that cultural awareness through art helps to build confidence and understanding of culture. As such, please join us for the 9th Annual West Texas Latino Artist Art Show & Día de Los Muertos Celebración presented by Los Hermanos Familia, will be held Sunday, November 1, 2020. The event will showcase the work of Latino artists, offer a cultural experience through local performers – traditional and modern; hold a unique Día de Los Muertos cake decorating contest; offer products from participating vendors; as well as provide children’s activities that offer cultural understanding.

In 2015 and 2016, the event was held downtown. Almost 3,000 individuals attended the event and 24 vendors connected with the crowd. Eleven very talented cake decorators competed in the cake-off. Six cars were showcased in the Día de Los Muertos best-decorated car competition, and almost 50 altars were on exhibit. The children’s area gave families an appreciation and understanding of the observance through art projects. Overall, the event was deemed a total success.
