The 2026 Grand Marshals: The WW II - Of the 16.4 million Americans who served in World War II, fewer than 45,500 are still alive today. Because these heroes are now in their late 90s and over 100 years old, time is of the essence for documenting their legacies. California has the largest surviving population of WWII veterans.
As such, the Veterans Parade Committee of Los Hermanos Familia and the Purple Hearts of the South Plains 0900 will honor WW II Veterans as the 2026 Grand Marshals. Please help us identify these heroes to include them in this very special parade commemorating 250 Years of Freedom by emailing us their names and contact info.
