Join the 5th Annual Lubbock Veteran’s Day Parade to be held in Lubbock, Texas. The Veteran’s Day Parade is an event, designed to pay tribute to veterans and all that have served in Lubbock. Veteran's Day is November 11 in all states and is usually observed as a state holiday and a federal holiday. This event is for veterans and families of Lubbock, to bring the community and region together. The parade will occur on Saturday, November 7, 2020. In lieu of COVID-19, participants and the general are asked to observe CDC requirements including social distancing, and wearing masks if able.


The 2020 theme is: “We Stand as One" – Participants are encouraged to pay tribute to veterans and all who have served the community. Veterans, to family members, to marching bands to floats, etc. are encouraged to be included. Click here to Register


Parade Date: Saturday, November 7, 2020. Set-Up 9 a.m. Start-Up at 10 a.m.


Route: The parade will start at the East parking lot of First Baptist Church at Broadway, participants are urged to enter through Avenue V. The route will begin off Avenue U, to Broadway, heading East down Broadway, and then Avenue M to the Civic Center Parking lot. Amaris Garcia will chair, Christy Martinez-Garcia will co-chair.
